Fungi

Australia's fungi are fleeting, quietly spectacular, and overwhelmingly strange. Each autumn and winter I head into the forests of Victoria, searching damp earth and fallen logs for fruiting bodies that most visitors never notice. These images are an invitation to slow down and look closer at the architecture of our native fungi. Occasional journeys take me interstate and beyond, but it's always the Victorian bush I return to.
